Lorraine, a stage play written and produced by Marvin and Melvin Coleman of Inkwell Pictures, celebrates the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., the influential musical artists of the 1960s, and the historic Lorraine Motel. Cast members include Durrell Lyons (The Haves and Have Nots, Alice), Maurice Kerry (The First Lady, Atlanta) and Ivory Shields (Queen Sugar, Saints & Sinners).
This captivating and thought-provoking musical production combines powerful storytelling, soul-stirring performances, and mesmerizing music to take audiences on a journey through the civil rights movement and the social transformations of the 1960s. "Lorraine" beautifully interweaves the stories of Martin Luther King Jr., iconic musical artists of the era, and the significant role played by the Lorraine Motel.
