Stonecrest Fest Inc. was created in 2017 to celebrate the newly established city of Stonecrest in DeKalb County, Georgia.
Stonecrest Fest Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to supporting the city administration’s and the city council’s goals of growing Stonecrest into a community where commerce and culture work together as a world class city. This will be accomplished through community outreach and by providing various platforms which encourage involvement of residents, businesses and other non-profit organizations throughout the city of Stonecrest and beyond.
The mission of Stonecrest Fest Inc. is to produce a series of events that bring communities together to support local businesses, promote tourism, learn about and experience the city’s rich history, explore the National Heritage Area of Arabia Mountain, offer health, finance, educational opportunities and to enjoy the culinary, artistic and varied talents of its residents and others.
The first festival was so successful that it has now become an annual Fall event attracting more and more of the city’s 60,000 residents as well as visitors from neighboring cities and neighboring states each succeeding year. As the city grows so will Stonecrest Fest.

About Stonecrest Fest...
Stonecrest Fest…IT’S MORE THAN A FESTIVAL…IT’S AN EXPERIENCE!
- The Stonecrest Fest 1st year was held in District 4 and 5 of the City of Stonecrest at Flat Rock Archive and Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve in 2017. It has been held every year since with the exception of 2020 & 2021 due to the Pandemic.
- The Stonecrest Fest 2nd year was held in District 1 of the City at Atlanta Sports City at the Mall at Stonecrest in 2018. And at the 3rd year it was held at the Southeast Athletic Complex in 2019 in District 2.
- After the moratorium on public events during the pandemic of 2020 and 2021, we returned for the 4th annual Stonecrest at Priv Stonecrest at the Mall at Stonecrest area in 2022.
- We were so excited about the 5th Annual Stonecrest Fest held in 2023 because we added a new pre-event “Fest Walk” and a new location – Browns Mill Park.
- WE ARE BACK THIS YEAR FOR THE 7TH ANNUAL STONECREST FEST AT BROWN MILL PARK ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4TH, 2025!
- The city of Stonecrest is home for one of the only few National Heritage Areas in the state of Georgia – ARABIA MOUNTAIN NATIONAL HERITAGE AREA
Stonecrest Fest invites attendees to visit special features of Stonecrest such as:
- Da​vidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve where festival goers can enjoy hikes, biking or the walking trails as they explore water, rare plants and more with a history spanning 400 million years.
- Flat Rock Archives attendees will learn how a group of slaves built a community for the ages where descendants still live today. Some of their notable descendants are Warren Moon, former NFL Player and Chris Tucker, Comedian and Actor.
